im currently reading Form of Sympathy. it's a character-driven plot with pretty nuanced depictions of complex characters and familial relationship dynamics. the top is in love with his noona, and the bottom, who was his former teacher, is in love with his best friend. the best friend marries the noona, and the top and bottom's paths cross again. it's quite angsty and emotionally heavy with the themes of unrequited love and depression, and both leads feel trapped in a way, are deprived of love in their childhood, and have different ways of dealing with their traumas and sadness. however, although their relationship was rocky initially (mainly bc of top), the way their relationship develops is quite heartwarming, despite the moral ambiguity (10 year age gap, former teacher-student relationship). it's not perfect, but i think it's one of the stories here that is actually underrated, not in the sense that it's unpopular, but that 9.1 rating is too low for the story of this caliber.
