Why did you think a freshman in collage would be 17? I don't think it's that common to finish highschool earlier.
Not an attack, just curiosity
I'm assuming this takes place in Japan and there collage starting age ranges from 17-19. The author couldve decided to make him 17 or 18 instead of 19.
in my country there's people starting college at 16 so yeah my mind def went there when he said he was a freshman lol
It ranges mostly because of month they were born in (they might have birthday later in year), but it's kinda universal to most countries, that you are legal adult (18/19) when you're enrolling for university
That's crazy, because in my freshmen year I was 19/20
it is imagine deciding what you're gonna do with your life at 16
I mean, you kinda have to choose what you want to do when you're choosing a highschool as a 15 yo, because results of highschool final exams are later used to collage recruitment... So you still have to choose wisely, what area you should go into, because it's gonna be a hellride later, when you change your mind
Was lowkey worried when they just said he was a freshmen in collage cause he couldve been like 17 while koichiro is 26. I personally dont fw that but him being 19/20 defo made it less uncomfy/weird. Very excited for the next chapter!!ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
