Actually I'm good with the redemption arc and Jaekyung was really suffering but Kim Dan actually loves him.
1. He did chase Kim Dan after months after pondering that he really done something wrong.
2. He stayed with him when Danny had a depression.
3. Offered to treat his grandma.
4.Offered to not Dan suffer again.
5. Defended and have been angry bc dan was sexually harrased by the old geeser.
6. Let him stay at his home free of charge.
We don't feel that this is a redemption arc bc probably it only happened within months in our timeline while in their timeline it's already ongoing for so long. And fyi the chapters had already been long for his so called redemption arc. This a yaoi not a straight manhwa bro. And I've reen manhwas that timeskip just to prove the mf really redeemed himself and he got depressed.
Idk about the rape that everyone is saying but in my opinion they agreed to something in the early chapters in exchange for Dan having a job. Though it's not an excuse how the horse treated Danny, it's a fact that they agreed to something. The hex is rough and we could really feel that Danny was also not into in the early chapters. But at the end of the day, they agreed to something. That's my point only. Do not take it seriously.
No I get that, like in BJ Alex (the authors other work) there was a clear set of time between the main characters to focus on themselves and work things out, like Jiwon took the time to think about everything that happened and apologized properly. Here it does seem a bit more rushed, like all the shit Jaekung did hes got A LOT of work to do
Ehhh he hasn't even apologized enough it wws like only one time that he really said he was sorry, also after all the shii he did he still decided to bring back dan for smex cuz dan still needs money when jaekwhores could've just offered to pay without the jinx part, and he did know that dan was already uncomfortable with that agreement but he still went through with it anywas, also lets not forget jk hasnt even said anything abiut the time when blondie walked in on them doing it but he just continued with the deed while dan is blindðfolded

But for real like the amount of shit he put kim dan through its gonna take a LOT more than one apology for him to redeem himself, like its good to see him acknowledging his mistakes and also realizing that what Kim Dan's old supervisor put him through played a big role in this, but I feel like the author made Kim Dan a bit too complacent, like seeing him leave and living on his own by the ocean and having him continuously refuse jaekungs offer to come back was great, like he was finally thinking for himself, it just feels way too rushed for Kim Dan to forgive jaekung

This is supposed to be a redemption arc, no? Like please do not come at me. However, I get people want to see Jaekyung suffer. But some people are trying to make it seem like he should suffer in the most unrealistic way. You can see that hes beating himself up about what hes done (which doesnt amount to what Dan went through, but why the comparison?). (I guess I might be wrong). Also, making it seem like every uke forgives too quickly, but if you really love someone is it not normal to not want them to beat themselves up and reassuring them? I mean i believe as the chapters go Jaekyung will change, of course not over night because thats not even possible. Or am I just dumb ?
