First of all, lemme appreciate this piece of art. Both the original author and the artist did their best. The story is awesome and the art is incredible. I'm only at Ch 8 so I will talk more about art. I love how the parrot feathers were covering him and how he had many birds on his arms when FL saw him in his manor for the first time. Secondly, I like the ambiguous way of showing ML's feeling. At times, instead of showing ML's eyes directly, the artist use the mirror reflection. I feel like it's hinting his manipulative behaviour where he's only showing what he wanted FL to see and when FL doesn't notice, he'd show glimpse of his true self to us, the observer. Also, almost every panel at his manor with the pet parrots is glamorous. The artist surely can draw parrots very well. Finally, for the story, ML is so mysterious and manipulative that it's frustrating but I think this indicates good storytelling. I feel like that bastard is doing some of these things to FL on purpose. I like how the parrots resemble humans and their speech (I do know parrots mimick humans), like when they gave guidance to her, telling her where the dinning room is and calling her good girl or repeating things ML once said etc. Overall, the art and the atmosphere the artist chose and created is just right for this kind of story. Maybe the author and the artist are soulmates? Haha
