To be honest, I lost interest in last 6 or so chapters when Pauliana betrayed everything she stood for by taking away the firstborn sons right to the throne by deciding she would just make him a captain. Just like other parents decided for their kids left and right, just like she was sent to war. Not to mention she should have been beheaded on the spot for betraying the very man she swore her loyalty to by taking his son's right to the throne away. This was nonsensical. And then the author throws in some law changes and voila everything's solved, her betrayal does not matter. Nonsensical. I really enjoyed the story, so I gave it 5 stars but these last chapters made no sense whatsoever.
