It may not matter ultimately but for my horni self, it would've spiced things up by quite a bit. You know, the smutty ones don't always come with a great plot.

And I reinforced the reason behind that first statement by what follows; "the smutty ones don't always come with a great plot". All this essentially means I highly appreciate a good bl story with smut as a bonus (one that doesn't prioritize smut) and I'm even more grateful when a smut (one that has smut has its priority) has a good story.
So....I don't get why you imply I only find stories good when it has smut. It's insulting. Is it my English? It's not my first language. Anyway, hope that clears things up.
