The brother is actively threatening her and almost killed her too. The ML was in a vegetative coma and couldn’t possibly harm her and when he woke up, he lost all his memories and is now following her like a duckling and listening to orders like a well trained puppy. We like ML BECAUSE he’s our well trained puppy. Brother isn’t on a leash and can’t be tamed. I like my Doberman controlled and close by my side. Wolves are only for viewing from afar.

Are you forgetting that all dogs are domesticated only because we are scarier than “the big bad wolf”with our technology? We bred dogs with aggressive natures to use them for aggressive purposes like the pitbull or Doberman. We have breeds like Samoyed or huskies who are bred specifically for their thick coats and hard working nature who are more closely related to wolves. We also have wolf dogs that are every bit as vicious as a real wolf but compiled into a dog’s size and bite range. Let’s not forget that every single dog breed is still a “wild animal” and that the number one creature that attacks humans (aside from other humans) are dogs. No one is saying ML is no longer a vicious animal. We are saying he’s tamed and trained and only attacks under certain circumstances. The brother however is very much a wild wolf and although they look like a very very VERY large husky, they aren’t. You’re complaining about the qualities in the ML that makes him morally grey while supporting a morally black character. There’s nothing wrong with you enjoying the morally black character but call a zebra a zebra and not a striped horse. We like ML KNOWING he’s a vicious Doberman or pitbull but we like him anyway because he’s under leash and muzzle most of the time and only gets allowed to show off his aggressive nature in controlled settings. If you prefer the brother, that’s your personal opinion and your prerogative but what’s you’re not gonna be able to do is convince ANYONE here that the brother is a safer option to the ML. You didn’t read the story if you truly believe he’s safer than the ML. That’s just the bottom line.
