yk, i was wondering when they would show the actual wife but they didnt. interesting bc men are like this irl too: he wants a submissive, pretty woman that he has no responsibilities with. no chores, no nagging bc he's incompetent, just intimacy. when he realises he could marry her, he doesnt like that she could marry someone else - just like those alpha male podcasts where they say men need more women and its not cheating but a woman only needs one man and its cheating.
ofc she is in the wrong too. why would you ever wanna be the other woman also ik im reading too much into this but surely it would require consent from the original wife to get married again? bc if not she literally could just get a divorce - which he should've done anyways. bc why would she want to remain married to him when he's betrayed her and wants to formally enforce that? this scenario only makes sense w poly relationships bc i dont understand why him getting married to this woman wouldnt realistically result in a divorce, so then he still only has one wife.
