I’d put this off for years despite its high rating, especially after finding myself disappointed with the artist’s other work . I finally gave it a chance today and OMG, this absolutely deserves a historical drama adaptation. Silly me for depriving myself of this masterpiece for years, otherwise I could’ve reread it a hundred times by now and relived every moment again and again, so tender yet so brutal, what a beautiful reading experience . Why don’t they make GL stories like this or Opium anymore? There’s so much I want to say about this rare gem but I’ll just say this: Life would be worth every one of its hardship if you had someone like Andrew Grace by your side.
