I think what doesn't make sense is that this dislike grew from a young age bc iirc, he built this dislike before he was in hs (which was when he got his secondary gender results. right?
I get that he wanted to be an alpha, but I feel like the character building doesn't make sense. Readers are missing a lot bc as it is, I genuinely dont think his characters internal complexes make any sense...

Given that he feels disgust and repulse toward alphas, why does he feel that its omegas that are also disgusting

like when i think of it, yes, he can feel repulse simultaneously toward omegas and alphas, 1 for omegas having to lose reason and have sex, and 2, for alphas taking advantage of it. but alphas also go into rut ??? idk this all can feel slightly misogynistic at the end of the day given its an omegaverse LMFAO

ultimately his character feels fickle and for someone who is supposed to be very strong and upright in his principles, not much lines up..
I do agree that its unreasonable in that sense that he hated omegas before even getting his test results but i think that hate already was ingraved into him becs normally omegas aren't really liked or seen as equals and u know how little boys are with their thinking but him hating ALL alphas including his friend is unrealistic
That's a good point that I failed to recognize. He definitely could've been socialized to hold omegas in disdain, hence why he has such a bad inferiority complex being one. Even now, he doesn't really find power in being an omega, but rather, that being an omega shouldn't inhibit him from being the person he wants to be. He still views being an omega as burdensome, so I get that.
but yeah, hating all alphas (even his own father who is an alpha) is just kind of a weird conclusion to arrive to.

like the other person said, typically in omegaverse omegas are treated as inferior socially so you could assume the author wrote with the expectation that being ashamed of an omega trait is normal (you can see this given even the way his employees/business partners treat his position).
specifically in yuhyeon's case though , i think honestly that he suffers with something similar to internalised misogyny (whatever's the omega version of that) because he was raised expecting to be an alpha ceo, and if he was he'd have looked down on omegas just like everyone else does. i think because it didn't work out that way thats why he hates alphas - mostly because he's jealous that they're living the life he wants and then he also doesn't like how they treat omegas (him). and i think he just doesn't like omegas in general because they're "inferior".
but i don't think he's a malicious person for it or that it's a strange conclusion to come to, he's just conditioned that way. there are so many women just like him who hate men cause they wish they had the same autonomy while subconsciously hating on women because they're indirectly taught to and it's not an intentional/conscious choice. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Yeah i get it... I think the main contradiction is that he hates on the omega his father sleeps with when it's clearly a mutual and consensual relationship while he also has his own sex partner (with no proper established label).

I dont get why yuhyeon built his negative perception of omegas on the omega his father regularly sleeps with. I get if it's different ppl all of the time, but it's clear that his father is with that one specific omega usually. regardless, i dont understand why he thinks he is in a different position than the omega his father sleeps with when he clearly also has his own sex partner that he enjoys having sex with. Like am i crazy???????????????????
