I just finished reading the novel. The ending is honestly rushed and disappointing

So it's like she tries to escape after finding out that he lied to her about going back to her world (being pregnant first). But since she doesn't have any other way to go back she accepts her fate and he puts a spell on her leg making her disabled in when he wants. The ending is with a rushed ending where she only accepts it as fate
