i do enjoy how we explore jun's psyche through his monologue and thought processes, that's part of the appeal with asshole characters for me. ik yohan's supposed to be a mysterious figure who's background and true character slowly gets unraveled blah bla bla. unfortunately even with 40+ ch i could not bring myself to gaf goodbye.

how does taesan end up being everyone's punching bag like atp i dont even care if he turns out to be completely evil or smt (because BL authors love to make their side character twinks secret twist villains for some reason) he should be allowed to kirk everyone in that classroom.
whether it be the homophobic bullies, bystanders, junwoo, or yes, even our mc and ml themselves, they are ALL complicit in his maltreatment, he can't catch a single breather.
jun's two faced "altruism" and yohan's direct malice are two sides of the same coin, ultimately they don't care about what happens to taesan they just want him out of the way, their behavior towards him are both out of selfish malicious intent. watching both of them act like this because of their own insecurity and inability to process their jealousy is frankly really embarrassing and pathetic. sorry.
i usually LOVE flawed asshole characters, and people can't help jealousy, however jun & yohan weaponizing their higher hierarchal positions ("savior" figure & "god" of the classroom respectively) to manipulate some bullied kid who also just happens to be associated with their crush is just so. petty. and frustrating to watch. especially when the narrative kind of just dismisses this because well yeah, this work is ultimately about yohan and jun. taesan isn't the forefront of this story and lowkey just acts as a plot device. but it makes it hard for me to actually root for the mc and ml.
lmk if this gets resolved in the novel or if taesan ends up being an evil mastermind that nukes everyone because i doubt i'm gonna ever read it.
