It kinda worries me, that the time Hayate's dad disappeared adds up with Tsukina'sby age +1 year...his dad disappeared when Hayate was 5....he's 24 and Tsukina is 19 in the latest chapters...I feel like he lost his humanity and either proposed in that state to Tsukina's mom and they mated in wolf form and got a baby together (which wouldn't be weird bc they said that white wolves are closer to bature than to humanity and follow their instincts more. Another hypothesis is, that the dad turned into a wolf bc of some kind of illness and only turned back after smelling the herb in the white wolf village and the reason he didnt come back to Hayate's family ia bc the white wolves found out about his affair with Tsukinas mom and killed him, but didn't know that she was pregnant already and the mom had to flee bc of that and ended up in that hut in the forest.
Also the woman Tsukina met at the village and her with that white wig look awfully alike. I think she's very likely a relative like an older sister or smth bc she looks to young to be her mom (imo) unless white wolves tend to look younger in general. Maybe her mom and Hayate's dad had smth like love at first sight and ended up having an affair while she was married against her will in the village or smth and while she already had a kid herself, but then she left the village to protect her unborn child or the story about a gray wolf being born in a white wolve's houshold was about Tsukina being born and the mom fled with her pup soon after childbirth.
That all woulf explain, why Tsukina tends to turn into a wolf without her control and being calmed down by those herbs bc maybe they did the same to her dad. Also her and the white wolf woman not minding the smell looks like a hereditary trait to me. If this theory of mine is true in some way then this whole situation would turn weird really fast...considering Hayate's and Tsukina's feelings for each other at least...
