I kept thinking about this while rewatching the anime
Especially with Hori, like he said he was okay with doing the backgrounds forever if Nozaki's next manga was abt a prince who turns into a bull. I hope dude is getting paid since he's doing all the backgrounds...
His other trade off with Hori is writing scripts for the theater club so Kashima can keep playing a prince character!
oh yeah i forgot about that! Im still curious though because the scripts for theatre club is likely a temporary highschool thing no? Doing Nozaki's backgrounds forever seems like a huge tradeoff imo. Im probably just overthinking it now tho lolol
does nozaki actually pay wages for his assistants? i know mikoshiba gets to shelf his collections of action figures and hori senpai gets help for script writing but what about sakura? her only pay off is 'getting to spend time with nozaki' but if nozaki's totally oblivious doesn't he wonder why sakura would help him that much?
