I love this story smm and relate to Mc so hard. Expecially how he acts since I also grew up overweight then lost the weight very suddenly, also distancing myself from others in the process. Like the Mc even though I lost the weight, I never really lost the strong insecurity it gave me, even after becoming attractive and getting positive attention for the first time.
I can relate so hard to how he acts, sometimes being a pushover for others, and still seeing himself as overweight/ being disgusted in his old body. I can als understand his admiring others who gave him regular attention (seme) and idolizing them. This is probably why I can relate to how he acts irrationally and I think it's acctually really realistic of him, considering his circumstance.
Everyone hates on his character for being a pushover but personally I think it's just something that tends to happen when you go from being bullied, to receiving this sudden big amount of positive attention. Also seme is very dominant and confident where uke is quite an insecure and a submissive person, so it makes sense that he struggles so much around him since they're both such opposite sides of the poll.
uke also still sees himself so negatively, so he self sabotages since he's not "worthy" of the seme
Honestly I see myself like crazy in ukes actions so I really really love this story I'm so glad I found it
. He's one of the few characters I've ever read where I can relate to everything he does, and can kinda predict what he'll do next. I really wish people wouldn't cast his character aside as annoying or meek or frustrating and give him a chance
