The ML was extremely hostile towards the brother because he thought the brother was some extremely clingy omega with a one sided crush or something and he continued to be extremely hostile and putting the brother in even more distress even after the MC arrived to protect the brother bc ML thought he was protecting the MC from a nutcase or something. If the MC had said that they were brothers, the ML would've instantly backed off and apologised instead of doubling down. Not to mention that if they keep ML believing what ever the F ML thinks the brothers' relationship is, while knowing full well what assumptions the ML is making (as ML put them into WORDS) and knowing full well how ML reacts to the brother BECAUSE of those assumptions, that's literally making the brothers safety be at risk whenever he wants to visit MC just due to a lack of communication!! Everyone with a brain cell knows that they need to clarify that a situation like this requires them to explain that they're brothers instead of letting the neighbour believe the brother is some weird stalker...
Also this is an extremely big messy misunderstanding this chapter has shown us that it did not yet resolve and could've been easily completely avoided if the MC said they're brothers when ML first asked a couple chapters ago. Of course back then it was still understandable that MC didn't clarify, although I could instantly smell the misunderstanding escalating which is exactly what we've seen happen this chapter, but to refuse to clarify and even play into the misunderstanding when it just genuinely put the brothers safety at risk is nothing short of
"all logic going out the window due to unnecessarily dragging out misunderstandings for the sake of drama".
ML is an extremely green flag who genuinely thought he's protecting MC from some stalker or something, which is why I hate how this misunderstanding just gets shoved under the rug and not explained at all...
Right for the sake of the drama, but if the story doesn't have problems to be solved, wouldn't it be boring?
He was wrong to assume that the omega was in relationship with mc or he’s trying to take advantage of him since he’s also a bit of a pushover. And he’s also wrong for thinking that omega just wants to get advantages from alpha especially a soft alpha like mc.
You blame mc for not telling ml that the omega he was with, was his brother. I will say this again, he has the right to tell him or not since ml wasn’t in any kind of relation with him not even a friendly relationship. He met and didn’t even have a good impression of ml, why should he have to go all the way about his personal information with him? If a man who I don't have a good impression of, asked me if the man who just came to meet me my lover, I wouldn't tell him directly either.
The misunderstanding was quickly solved. On the same night, after sending his brother back home, ML was waiting for him and apologized for acting harshly then mc told him that the omega was his brother. Then when they met again, ml apologized to his brother.
Misunderstanding is created to make the story more fun to look forward to. Surely, you’re tired of it but any story has to have misunderstandings or problems

A misunderstanding that is being dragged out (which it already is by not resolving it here) is frustrating to read. And no, I hate misunderstandings in fiction, it's the cheapest and most frustrating way to write a story and no, it's NOT necessary at all. There's so many other, less frustrating types of drama and conflict.
And yes, the ML is definitely in the wrong for jumping to conclusions, but that doesn't change the fact that when your neighbour mistakenly thinks your brother is a stalker and thus acts hostile towards him in an attempt to protect you, then playing into that misunderstanding instead of clearing it up is literally RISKING YOUR BROTHERS SAFETY?!! YOU CAN'T TELL ME THAT THE THOUGHT OF HAVING YOUR NEIGHBOURS KNOW THAT YOUR SIBLINGS ARE, IN FACT, YOUR SIBLINGS IS SOMEHOW WORSE THAN YOUR SIBLINGS BEING PUT IN DANGER?????
And no, this misunderstanding has already been dragged out unnecessarily as is, even if it revolves soon, it's still unnecessarily dragged out already AS IS. If I'd turn into a whole arc I'd end up dropping this mahnwa as it turns into an arc, just like how I've dropped countless mangas, mahnwas and comics die to frustrating misunderstanding arcs, it's my number 1 reason for dropping a story, but if this misunderstanding resolved quickly, then I'll continue reading because the characters and overall plot are interesting and green flag couples in full colour are unfortunately a rarity.

There will be another misunderstanding and yes, about another OMEGA. Then a family problems which separates them for many days. MC didn't break his relationship with ML in the first chapter because ml is a bad man but that family’s problems.

I literally wrote that it doesn't need misunderstandings because there's significantly better ways to add conflicts and problems to a plot and misunderstandings are the cheapest most frustrating way. You either didn't read what I wrote or are genuinely unable to grasp that other types of conflict can exist...
Take Yuri on ice for example: the conflicts there are purely just caused by anxiety and rivalry. Or look at Dramatical Murder, where we also don't have any misunderstandings and instead the conflict comes from the villains, the characters backstories and the characters all having lots of personality and their personalities clashing with eachother.
Look at honto yajuu, one of my favourite BL mangas, it also has no misunderstandings. The main characters are extremely honest and straight to the point. The conflict comes from one of them being a police officer who may or may not be autistic, while the other is an extremely wholesome Yakuza heir.
Also I've never never seen a studio Ghibli movie pull the "misunderstandings plot/arc" despite having watched most Ghibli movies there are, and studio Ghibli are objectively good tier anime.
The ONLY story I've seen pull a misunderstanding in a way that wasn't frustrating was a BL named "healer" and the only way it works there is because the misunderstanding is purely caused by the symptoms of the MCs mental illnesses which makes the misunderstanding unpredictable and unavoidable while simultaneously preventing it from having the characters run around in circles which in other words means it takes away all of the frustrating aspects of a misunderstanding trope and thus makes it fun.

And no, I won't drop a series just because you tell me to. The mahnwa hasn't reached the point yet, where I'd consider dropping it and me still being here after 10+ means the writing has other qualities that match my taste. If the misunderstandings really do accumulate to the point of me dropping it I'll decide to do so while reading and will drop it purely based on what the mahnwa pages portray and not based off the whining of someone who can't handle people having different opinions.

This whole situation could've easily been avoided if the MC just told the ML that this omega is his BROTHER back when ML asked if they're lovers.
I can't blame ML for not realising bc the brothers don't look alike at all but damn, the brothers still kept quiet about BEING SIBLINGS after the accusations ML just threw at them???? HOW??? ANY NORMAL SIBLINGS WOULD BE GROSSED OUT AND CORRECT HIM RIGHT THEN AND THERE WHY THESE TWO KEEPING QUIET AND ACTUALLY PLAYING INTO IT???
