That’s not how it works. There are different types of pedophiles. They have different names but to use the actual name would make you sound like a pedophile so people don’t do that. There’s one for prepubescent children, there’s another for babies, there’s another for pubescent children and one for post pubescent children and adolescents. The last one is what he is. It’s still under the branch of pedophilia and if he was “waiting out the clock” then he’s a pedophile because that means he never viewed the child as a child but rather as a “not-yet adult”.
