yes, ml is a green flag and massive sweetheart, no ml doesn’t ever attempt to SA mc (he literally immediately backs off twice lol bless him) since ml literally is from one day protective as shit of mc to the point it’s precious but the delirious at the time mc ‘is’ almost SA’ed by another character at one point but is saved by ml who rightfully kicks the rapist’s ass and would of killed the fucker if mc hadn’t said anything

and also yes an anime adaptation does exist but it’s so bad and cheap compared to the manga, it’s literally just short episodes of cheap censored porn with barely any plot that disrespects how much the manga later develops itself in terms of the story and world building

the final anime’s episode if I recall correctly was the section where the mc was fucking almost sa’ed and they still butchered the scene compared to the manga somehow

so don’t bother with the anime, the manga in itself if you give it a fair chance besides the often graphic sex develops itself quite nicely and still is somehow fucking ongoing after 10 years
