There's a reason for that. And honestly, it's tiring to have a main character who's overly kind. Being selfish is normal, how can you fault her for thinking her own well-being is the most important? The novel is complete anyway, if you want to know why just read it.
Her personality is awful wow. She doesn't have a humble or grateful bone in her body. She literally became s-class, and won't even donate 10 minutes of her time into thinking about anyone other than herself.
