Well, even if this site is legal, the rules still apply. I actually sent emails to mrm mods asking about my uploads. They kindly replied "It’s not against the rules. The manga will be uploaded or not depends on its quality and whether it’s suitable or not. You can send us the file, it will be checked and decided.
Keep in mind that the community now kinds of against AI contents so you may see unpleasant comments!" They're so kind ╥﹏╥

there's alot of stories to sift through but you can easily find the manhwa MTL stories that get uploaded daily. anything uploaded by these people is MTL https://www.mangago.me/home/people/4647198/home/ https://www.mangago.me/home/people/4946065/home/ but people still read it and don't really say anything
yeah mrm doesn't really care as long as you can read it and understand it and the images aren't blurry. the community picks and choses what they think is acceptable tbh cuz I can honestly say they've probably read MTL and Ai before and either have not been able to tell or it was the only scanlation available so they didn't care but now new gen readers suddenly give a shit when they're reading for free on a piracy site. makes no sense to me but whatever
How can you tell that it's an MTL though? Is it because they're credited as "staff"? Or they mentioned it somewhere else before?

Imagine people who have spent years mastering a language and then saw someone's ai translated products got praised and are so well-received by many readers, that also hurts too you know. If you've actually spent time and effort in mastering or achieving something like a skill, I'm pretty sure it would also make you feel sick in the stomach seeing someone without the knowledge in that field or skill being welcomed and accepted by the same community.
There's hundreds of other AI and MTL'd stories on this website that are worth complaining about on this matter at least OP was one of the very very few that actually let use know they used AI instead of lying about it. They're not using it for pay wall and they told people it's AI translation. If you hate it so such don't read it. Or even better you scan it yourself if it bothers you that much.
Doing something unsightly and announcing to others that they're doing it doesn't make them any better than those who don't say anything.

Ain't that the point, so you're fine reading AI if you don't know it's AI but when someone actually let's you know "hey I used AI to help translate this" suddenly they're the devil. And yeah you didn't read it so why are you even here. Just leave people alone and let them be.
Let's also remember that there are official platforms that use AI now, Manta being one of the big ones and they let people know that and yet people still pay and read their stories. Its about being transparent with people so readers can judge if they're comfortable reading AI or not, it's not an invitation to shame and shit on others.

But I think we have different opinions on what should be shamed. And well that's fine too, you keep your views and I'll keep mine.
You know, I actually did have some skills that I acquired since junior high and now it can be replaced by ai, both in private life or at work. I'm totally fine with it, no butthurt or anything. I just call it tech development. Just like the factory I used to work where they used to having many people do the labor job but now tech and machine replace them all (me as well). Most people sure are against it, yet it's still unavoidable. Even a famous seiyuu worked on ai development now.
I am not asking to be well-received and not putting myself in the same position as scanlation teams, I'm just adding readers another collection to read, some that scanlation teams won't work on. And I said it multiple times that I don't consider my work as a translation, just take it as you read a raw but you understand it a little. If scanlation team wants to take over I'm totally fine, I'll give the raws.
