Please may I have manga/manhwa recommendations? I'm looking for BL that are well written, serious, with drama but happy ending. Messed up stuff is welcome, I very much dig psychological and instrospective stories. I'm fine with Stockolm and similar as long as it's painted as what it is instead of fluffy romance. I like flawed characters if the author can get me to understand them (reasons are not excuses, but certainly make characters more interesting to me). I like characters even if they are bad persons as long as they're good to their partners and the story doesn't try to convince you of them not being bad people while showing them doing terrible things at the same time. To sum it up, I like complexity, pshychology, character driven stories with character development. Extra points if there's an interesting plot.

So... Yeah, I'm a bit picky. Recommendations anyone? Pretty please? I'm in one of those moods in which you find faults easily in stories and can't find good things to read (will thank you for any recommendation, tho, I'm just picky for myself, wouldn't judge any sugestiones as I often read all kinds of stories, current mood is giving me trouble is all)

Please? Please and thank you in advance?

"The Black Mirror" - I overrecommend this one a lot but it checks every box you're asking for. It's SO good, if you do read it pls update me on your thoughts!

looked thru your stuff, i didn't see https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/sankaku_mado_no_sotogawa_wa_yoru/ not really considered a BL, but it's there hiding in the closet. similar to your taste.

I've read that one! I really liked it too, coming from another work of the same author (Country of Maestri) which I also loved. I very much enjoyed the psychological mixed with horror around which the story evolves. Characters who seem normal at first and slowly show the cracks get me sucked into the storytelling. They are definitely not good persons, but oh well, no one seems to be a good person around the either, so lol It reminded me of Moritat, have you read that one? Anything else similar that come to mind? Part of the reason I'm looking is because I've read a lot of the genre so I'm difificult lol

Hi! Oh, yeah, I did read that one, watched the anime as well. It probably got erased from my list when the site had that hiccup, my lists got pretty much destroyed and I'm still building them back and praying the site solves the problem and give them back... And you're right, it's very much up my alley. I only hoped we'd get a little more after the ending, they are together in my mind but I need it explicitly said in canon, the author was mean depriving us of that. You hit the right boxes about my taste, any other suggestion comes to mind? (=・ω・=)

I haven’t read those, I’ll add it to my list!!
    Some more recs:
    - The Haunted Mansion
    - An Unsetting Scent (it’s wolf in sheep’s clothing x sheep in wolf’s clothing, alpha x alpha psychological)
    - Raising a Sacrifice (It doesn’t seem psychological at first but it grows to be that - I really, really really liked the premise)

Oohh, the first one I read, but didn't know the other two, thank you! I rarely read omegaverse, but I've occasionally found some examples enjoyable so I'll give it a chance. Last one is also called "How to raise a victim"? Seems to have an interesting premise, with second-run plot and betrayal, if you say it's also got psychological it may be a real win! If you like second life stories may I interest you in "Turning" (by Nono and Guyu). It's a second chance omegaverse (omegaverse is really ligh, tho, more of a long term plot device) with amazing worldbuilding. It's reaaaally long, and slowburn so I turned to the novel and said novel became one of my favorites. Since it's very long the webtoon has yet to reach big plot points and you may end up looking up the novel like I did, because a lot gets lost in the adaptation. Not a dark one, though the novel gets into seriously complicated emotions and such down the line (big green flag power couple).

About previous recs do know that Country of maestri is an amazing story, but has no BL (well, maybe if you squint... But) Morita does, with lots of twists and twisted characters, similar to Black Mirror.

Yep, it's also called "How to Raise a Victim." I've read Turning!!! I liked it a lot actually. I haven't read the novel, but I probably should. (I need to catch up on my novels actually I left Got Dropped in a Ghost Story, Still Gotta Work to marinate for MONTHS).
    I'll definitely read Morita :-)
