Alao correct me if I'm wrong but since when do you need the imperial family's approval for an engagement annulment? Did THEY decide for them to get married? Isn't the whole period of engagement to acess if there will be any issues?

I mean that guy withheld information from her and dragged her to the palace, he's completely disregarding her consent and is obsessive. What if she already had someone she liked and didn't know she was still engaged to a random guy from SIX YEARS AGO?
