Unfortunately I have to agree. I don't really care about this "line of business" and it doesn't make sense to me, nor does it make a compelling atmosphere for a story. So going super heavy on all the jargon and business-speak and putting so much effort on that branch of the story has me bored.
I'm almost ready to drop because of it. I don't need a chapter and a half of them trying to get this client and then explaining why it worked.
There is too much work talk in this story. I can’t follow what the hell they are talking about half the time. I can’t tell if there is even a plot that is moving along or not.
