i dont rly so much as care about him as i do hate the potential story we’re being presented with. that was the entire point of my comment. i feel like so far the scariest thing that has happened (or most haunting) has been the death of the hyung because of how brutal it was. its only 4 chaps so i’m gonna keep reading but that comment was an expression of my distaste so far. i’m also a huge fan of erotic horror so i had high hopes for this
Is it not tragic in and of itself that he died without ever getting to stand up for himself, be taken seriously, or actually confess? The MC is clearly being presented as an asshole idk an MC doesn't always have to be likeable for a story to be good or interesting. Its not like the author made him unlikeable on accident like he is very clearly a dickhead lmfao The sadness here is that the uke died loving someone who barely gaf about him

No i get what ur saying and Im disagreeing lol. Wdym "if he stayed an asshole for a bit" was he supposed to become a good person in 4 chapters? He also clearly does not believe that the uke died and thinks hes just tweaking and fucking shit up on purpose. Thats also why hes so frustrating with the uke for doing crazy shit, because he still does not believe its not actually him.
what about the rest of the sentence that follows that quote? like IK mc is a dickhead that doesn’t actually believe his friend died and i’m saying that i’m not invested in watching him sex up this horny ghost thing without consequence. but yes, the story is only 4 chapters, so i’ll keep reading! hopefully this actually does have substance and isnt some half baked pornhwa horror comedy, i’d love for that to be the case!
I always use MC for the bottom and ML for the top because I feel like calling them uke, seme, bottom, or top is sooo fetishistic
i wonder who this type of story is made for. the ML is so unlikeable right out the gate that you’re rooting for him to get put in his place but the story doesn’t allow the reader that satisfaction. i personally wouldnt mind if the ML stayed a shitty person for a bit IF the mc didnt die chapter one in a way that only makes you feel horrible for him. the replacement ghost is another “learning to be human uwu” type character and (unless the author commits to making the ML suffer) their dynamic does not play off nicely. its like reading sexy ragebait. i wouldve loved to explore more about mc and ml’s toxic dynamic, i wouldve loved to see what happened in mc’s life after he committed to standing up for himself. instead we get to see this dickhead fuck a weird cat-boy ghost mimic thing whilst speaking ill of his dead friend who he lived off of in exchange for one-sided intimacy. maybe im being too harsh, its only 4 chapters so far so who knows, but i HIGHLY doubt mc is ever coming back.
