I really appreciate how this story portrays the LGBTQ+ community and highlights how different our rights were in the past compared to today. We have come so far, yet many people are still against homosexuality. The manhwa also realistically depicts what it’s like to grow up in a deeply religious Christian household, where parents may struggle to accept their child’s identity. However, it shows that religion should not be used as a reason to reject or suppress one’s sexuality. Overall, I love the story—it is beautifully written and thoughtfully developed, especially as a BL comic.
