But the story also has nothing to do with Keanu Reeves XD that one confused me too the first time I saw it on NovelUpdates. Apparently it's really good (it's yaoi btw)

<3 the novel was named after the song. Because the plot of the novel was probably thought up listening to the song XD. The song ironically was directly related to Keanu Reeves. The fun thing with webnovels is most of them are written not expecting to gain actual traction. Reborn as a slime was writing practice for the author until he realized it got super popular and he should probably write an actual plot. I like to think this story was similar. Just someone writing into the void not expecting people would actually like it. The top comment of the song is people referencing the novel, with the first reply being "the author doesn't want us to mix these two communities" but imagine making a song about writing letters to your favorite celebrity, and then someone took inspo from the song to write a original BL novel XD. I love the internet sometimes.

Black-bellied is a Chinese slang term which means someone is sly, full of plots, schemes and tricks, I hope that helps XD but ya translated into English with no context does make it sound weird!
