Where to read the novel? I read this a while back (1 or 2 years? Below 80 Chapters) and I really liked it, the pacing was great and I loved how Jian Suiying was developing but I see they skipped through the main driving event really fast?
I would like to read the novel then (I do plan to read all the 188 series) do you have a good site to read them?
It's just that the pacing here is awful, and since it's a webtoon, the development feels rushed and there are information gaps which leaves the reader bewildered.
I think the most well known site that has translated 188 novels is probably novelupdates. Although you gotta sign up to access the chapters. The version over there is the censored one, mtl has the uncensored one.
Is MTL also there (or some other site), or do I access the chinese site and use a site translator?
Also yeah, I checked a few of the latest chapters and it’s wack as hell. Ngl, for the first chapters pacing was perfect and I felt a lot of tension, but it’s so rushed now that all the impact it should’ve had is gone.
I don't remember which mtl site exactly cuz it's been a while. But I recall reading the uncensored version on a site that had already google translated the novel from the 18+ chinese raws.
I think if you were to Google the novel you'll find the website on page 1 itself.

Interesting thanks for telling me! It is sad that the art is amazing but everything is ass on rush like a lot of other novel adapted to webtoon. I don't care if it takes years to adopt it fully cos I do want to enjoy the story as someone who's dyslexic, it's very hard for me to enjoy novel :(

Lol so 188 is the name used by the author's Fandom (the novel's writer I think her name is shui qian cheng?) Since EVERY SINGLE MALE LEAD in her novels is 188 cm tall. She always does younger seme x older uke trope, and every single one of her novels have a considerable amount of angst followed by groveling from the male lead.
Personally I love the author's work, I like binge reading them when i want to cry a little. Although some of her male leads go too far and are still forgiven (￣∇￣")

I'm one of the few people who read the novel first and even I hate this manhua!!! Like the novel was actually decent but this?! This was so bad it felt like a different story! Read this only if you can turn off your brain for 150 chapters
