..... are you that oblivious or are you being sarcastic...? Not everyone's native language is English? Many people here trying to enjoy the things they like eventhough there's giant wall called language barrier.... you have no right to make fun of people in this matter and say "these people need to read more" how about you learn new language yourself and try reading the classic literature in that language?
There's level to everything. Sure some people does get as good as native by time but that time is long. Noone has the power to learn anything in no time like our Mc here.
This webtoon comes in five languages. Why i know because I have read the raws. If I can read the raws that are in other languages and not complain. Then others can read English and not to. I was stating that for those who speak or can read it that they need to pick up a book. People who read this must be 15 or older or I hope so on this app. I suggest picking up a book. Its not that hard. If you feel offended then please do comment on others as well. And see if their opinions also offended you. If thats how you felt.
Yes that's actually impressive round of applause to you.. but did you woke up one day and you could read them? Like I said no one has power like our Mc boy here that's why he even calls it cheat skill.
And one thing I can tell you, as a legal adult myself, is that no most people here specifically the ones who are saying that they can't keep up with the English are NOT in fact 15 or older... most probably 13 or younger... do I comfortable with this? No. Can I do anything about it? No not really. They. are. learning. I should know. Why? I was like a few years back. My brain would glitch everytime they start talking like 1800's noble. And what did I do? I read more. Now i'm studying abroad in English. Do I understand it? Yes. But do I have the right to call other people names for not understanding it just because I can understand it? Absolutely no. So do you.
So answer the question yes they are mostly children. And it is really insensitive and oblivious of you to criticize them for not understanding little intermediate language that is not they're own native language. Person go from not being able to good at it little by little like stair. You absolutely can not talk down on people when they are just trying to climb that stair.
Also irony is that, most of these "Shakespeare words" are not even taught in most schools around the world in normal English class as a second language. And not every country study for sat. Not to mention, there's way more than 5 language in this world
Lol this funny. I am not even mad. You stated your opinion. And obviously you only pick up what you want to see. But sure. Your right. But where do you study abroad is it the UK or America? And I was talking about the app. If you want to go world wide over a comment. Then please go talk to more people. William Shakespeare is credited with introducing over 1,700 words to the English language by using them for the first time in his written works, including examples like "eyeball," "swagger," and "uncomfortable". While often cited as "invented," many of these were likely commonly spoken words he first documented, or words he created by changing parts of speech.

The best way to learn a language is by reading/speaking/listening. Comics are great because the visuals aid you in your understanding. And it's a good thing to sometimes encounter words you don't understand. You look them up and that's how you learn. As you say, not everyone has the time for that, and that's fine too, you will probably still get the general picture and in the meantime your brain picks up some patterns so that next time it will be easier to understand. It's a good thing to let yourself be challenged, not everything has to be simple always.
