I can't describe how much I enjoy this story! Having a FL who is not only strong, but smart and capable? I don't even care about the romance, the horror and fear aspect are set up so well, and the angst is really nice too. I'm not usually one for slowburns, but this feels super worth it. Even the art is beautiful! It captures how brutal an apocalypse would be, and I really enjoy the fact the FL isn't a weak coward protected by everyone.
