I kind of get why the author is showing Minchul's side. Don't get me wrong. I hate the dude, and I want nothing but to see karma eat his a** like a champ. The author is showing us one of the psychological state of men like Minchul. Since they have nothing to prove in life, they use the people closest to them (e.g.' family, friend, partner, etc.) to feel like they're still "something"--that they're not worthless and pathetic as to what they're denying (aka, delulu phase). His actions and thoughts are inkling to the mind of domestic abusers (side note: domestic abuse is not just physical harm). The man clearly needs help, or to be in jail for the psychological trauma he caused. It's sad how domestic abuse starts with the picture-perfect almost novel like romance. Scary~~ hahaha
