It's annoying bc they're usually accompanied by other "boring" tropes such as "one sided love" or "unrequited REQUITED love". Authors don't choose to use the fake dating trope with complete strangers
FRRR i prefer a heart aching storyline like... lovers to enemies then find another lover while yearning for each other type shii? but unfortunately i cant find any of the sort ╥﹏╥
