camilla had bulb moment. she remembered the snow spirit fought alongside zeno's ancestor to fight the cult. camilla called the snow spirit to tell her the emperor's name. camilla called "john carter" and he left the emperor's body. when the leader vanquished, the cult no longer able to perform possession.

I have a hunch about emperor, i haven't read novel spoiler yet but i think that.. emperor is someone from other world who was reincarnated here and loved that power he once held but he got old (the body and it died) with some sorcerery he switch it next crown prince to keep it continue. Maybe that's why thoes grim ripper guys don't know who is he really.
