Yeah, dad who lost his memories and didn't even know her mom was pregnant before the memory loss is way less offending than dad whi ordered her execution multiple lifetimes. I'm still side-eyeing the other guy for how they neglected Dive though.
Well I'm not justifying his actions on neglecting Dive though, but if we think about it, that's how he always been even before he meet Camilla's mom though, he just became a different person because he was injured and lost his memories when he met Camilla's mom, it's like that was never him in the first place and when he was found by his assistant he was injured again and somehow he lost that piece of memories when he's with Camilla's mom and return to how he was before and at that Dive's is not born yet but he take Khan (his dead assistant son) as his adopted son cause he feel gratitude and sorry he cause Khan to lost his parent.
he not only was neglecting dive but clearly has favouritism with carmilla, like he only noticed bcs carmilla took action. and ppl seems to be forgetting that nobody can actually love her bcs of the swapped soul things
Not to be that person but duke sorphel never hated camilla (old or current). The swapped souls is the reason why they both experienced hardship. Also, old camilla was executed for murder, dont remember whether she did it or not, but that was how she was perceived and its a valid reason for execution.
But both duke sorphel & the brother was shown to like her before she made any contributions. There were hints like “she’s never done this before” “she’s never smiled at me before” and taking advantage of the change. It seems like they were waiting for her to open up to them. Old camilla wasn’t exactly mature and was shown to be gullible which caused her to get into trouble multiple times. Ppl seem to forget that old camilla even hated on lila (? The blonde hair girl) even though she didnt do anything wrong & was the only person to be nice to her
You know I'm kind of feel pity for duke escra by how cami treating him, yeas he is neglectful of his sons but when he was living with Ravi and their mom he is kinda not himself cause he lost his memories and kinda swap his personality 360 degree and when he was found by the duchy people he also lost his memories again about his life when living with Ravi and Camilla mom's and kinda turn back to the cold blooded duke again without having those warm memories, so it's kinda understandable if he treat all his kid the same. About him taking interests in Camilla is somewhat change his behaviors towards his kid 10 percent i guess.
Well about duke sorphel, he kinda change his behaviors after Camilla show her usefulness when the mystical beast was found and keen on Camilla, but before that he toi is like duke Escra about neglecting her and let the household bully's Camilla, after she has her usefulness that duke Sorphel chang his behaviors.
But Camilla only treat duke Sorphel nicely but didn't give duke escra a chance to know her.
