I think Yeomin takes a huge pride in his work ethic and sense of purpose. And his lover took that away from him. But here's the thing. What was the object of his sense of purpose? His father's debt. Even he knows that servicing this debt was causing him severe issues.
It's an unclear situation from his perspective, and fraught with danger as well. But I think he should give himself a break and just take the win in front of him as is. The other problems can be dealt after.
