sixteen is weird because people with that age gap have gone through insanely different things, and no matter the age, the level of maturity is completely different. sixteen years is a whole person in highschool. one of the people in the relationship wasn't even a though, while one was already in highschool.

It is a big gap but: in this story they met when they are ADULTS. Not before or anything. They actually talk about it, they even broke up because of it. There is NOTHING weird in this story.
