I'm confused af. I didn't really like this story at first, but as it progressed, I started to see improvements in their character, so I felt relieved. But what was that ending?!
The author was leading us to a conclusion that she moved on and stopped having a parasocial relationship with her 'God,' only to give an ending showing that her love resurfaced. I find it extremely dangerous considering she hasn't truly discovered herself and is definitely not on a journey to self-discovery and personal development. She could relapse and become dependent on Madoka all over again if they're not careful in whatever their relationship will be after meeting each other again. And what about Madoka? What is her current state?
I suppose, the author wants to leave their future in the hands of the readers. I don't like that kind of style but oh well.. We'll just have to accept it. This story is still well-done.
