A doomed dynamic that will eventually fail, but….hey, the scenes were kinda hot.

I can see what the author was attempting to do, but a relationship with three only works with full communication, the vagueness they’ve left hanging in the air will always be an elephant in the room. “Winging it” sounds romantic, but ain’t always so. Ya gotta talk it out. Firm boundaries and expectations must be discussed or it’ll go belly up. Imbalance will be felt, Someone will get drained. One wheel will eventually get emotionally tired, even if they claim to not experience jealousy. Kitada will probably have it the roughest, as his “role” is the most vague, and is basically just acting as the glue or “fix it man” when the other two can’t talk to each other properly. I question whether they’ll ever be able to actually learn for themselves how to express needs and wants to each other if he’s always doing it for them. Is he expected to be on stand by 24/7 so he can swoop in and patch things up every time they can’t use words? That’s a big responsibility. One person being a human bridge never works long term in any relationship, platonic- romanitic- familial- that middle wheel will feel the brunt even if they never voice it. Kinda feel bad for him. He had a breakdown with tears after 10 years, what’s another 10 or 20 years of being the vague “emotional bridge” going to do to him? Idk….

Also we needed waaaaay more input from Uke regarding his true feelings for the other two men. We got lots of tears and feels, sure, but at times when his words were needed we got nothing. Sex scenes replaced what should have been clarifying dialogues. Well, one thing he was right about was how patient the other are for putting up with it.
