It's just she knows kate is in danger but she's nowhere close with her. And she's expecting kate to come? Like? She knows Kate might be targeted, She doesn't even overthinking things. She keeps expecting her plan to go along with flow. Like? she overthinks in small problem but not on bigger problems. Sometimes she's smart, sometimes she's naive. Kind of like that. Nad it's been on and on. We're on 100+ chaps now but there's still things she overlook.
Going as soon as she sensed Kate was in danger was the dumbest thing she could have done for one specific reason: Rianca expected her to do so. She would’ve just walked straight into a trap. Taking the time to think things through and discuss it is how she managed to get so far into her revenge. Sure, I also would’ve loved her to go straight away, but just seeing Rianca imagine Annarose rushing in like everything would go according to plan showed us she was better off NOT doing that. We also find out that Kate wasn’t left completely defenseless, yet even with the ML’s artifact, Michael was able to put her to sleep, so Annarose going there blind would have actually made her stupider than she’s proven not to be this entire time. Thinking of using her ex-husband there in the end is a smart decision as we know how obsessed Rianca is with him and it’ll make her defenseless long enough for Annarose’s team to get Kate and foil Rianca’s plan. Michael is their biggest wild cards as he has abilities that can go around Sol.

Her job isn’t to guard Kate. Kate already has someone meant to watch out for her so if anyone is to blame, it’s that guy who said she went back inside her old house to get her gloves. Rianca was locked up in the imperial jail. So yes, being satisfied with that security was good enough. And Sol is the one who was meant to keep Kate protected in the first place, not Annarose. Kate became a known factor to Annarose only later; they both have their own revenge journeys; it’s not one and the same. I’m really confused as to why you believe it’s Annarose’s job to keep Kate protected.

These are two grown women who relied on, and came under Sol’s power to survive. They had nothing to do with each other until Rianca started to suspect Kate was her sister. Their plans weren’t even one and the same. They have two different journeys. Annarose is on a revenge path, not a protection path. She’s been smart to take the time to think things through, and put herself in an advantageous situation. And why do I keep bringing up Sol? Because he was Kate’s protector before Annarose even knew she existed. These women have formed a friendship, that’s it. I can feel protective of a friend, doesn’t mean I become their protector. No one in this is clairvoyant, not even Sol or Micheal who have shown to have extraordinary powers. You speak as though Annarose is supposed to be some trained spy with future sight who can predict that the imperial jail can’t hold the person they’re meant to either keep jailed or execute.
Anyway, as long as you actually believe Kate is Annarose’s responsibility, the conversation becomes pointless because that is simply not a fact I believe to be true. I will leave things here.
