While I do understand your general aversion to horny Mc, I think it is unfair to label this Mc a horny one. If you saw a person you considered attractive, would you not simp internally? Honestly, he is only like this with the goddess, so I am personally not that pressed about it.
As for his parents, I wish they addressed it more and made MC think about them some more so we can understand why he is not searching for them yet, instead of having us speculate.
MC looking for his parents:
He tried to find them, while he was on earth, but he didn't know on which world they ended up.
Now that he is on another world himself, he has no means to find his parents until he returns to earth, because the chances are nearly 0, that they ended up on the same world and even if they are there, he has no means to find them at least for now, because his domain is too small to have a lot of contact to the rest of this world.
Also, he went to the other world to earn fame and money for the search of his parents, because only returnees receive preferential treatment while looking for their missing relatives.
Yeah horny was probably over the top, there are hofnier ones :) Idk I just feel like he has more worries than suddenly focusing on/fantasizing about some woman he doesn’t know…
Or it was just his facial expression, something just didn’t sit right with me. It just didn’t fit the overall atmosphere, in my opinion.
Idk I had hopes for this MC, he was kinda cute the way he was timid but kind of also strong?
BUT when choosing the goddess of abundance he was all horny for her (or imagining her), like that’s so weird? Idk I don’t like Horny af MCs anyways, and he didn’t seem the type, so it really took me by surprise… my interest definitely faded a lot afterwards (like my guy, you are devoting your life basically to earn money and possibly find your parents again and you tell me you’re so easily hooked, suddenly imagining some beauty?? Or maybe that’s just men idk)
I continued bc idk maybe it’s not as it seems, but when he found that root (forgot it’s correct name) and imagined her regaining her original body again -.-
So yeah, disappointed
