It’s still ongoing. The latest chapter is 34 but I don’t think you can expect a happy ending from this. At best, Haesu is released from being bound to the willow tree and moves on. Maybe Eunha dies and joins him? But that’s unlikely. I think it’ll be bittersweet or tragic for Haesu. So far, there are no gods and therefore no chance at supernatural redemption or a “second chance” at life for Haesu. Despite “prayer beads” the gods are silent here and the ending will come from either release by the contract or resolution of Haesu’s resentment. That’s my theory.
