The first season was really good, but after that it fell off for me. Not only did the art change, but there was subtle changes to the characters, especially Aideen. She started as a cool hearted, calculative captain to more of a lead romance shojo character who is depicted as captain due to plot rather than character. The bubbly, tomboy, go gettem with a slight naive vibe shojo lead.
I continued reading because I like to complete things... But like most in the comments the first season is a standalone. It such a pity too, it was soo good
