I feel so pissed off at the missed potential of this book. first of all. the smut and revenge plot had me hooked. nothing feels better than the sting of a good betrayal. but this book had MAJOR pacing issues. took 40 chapters for them to get married and then we end off on a “ I hope they’re happy” note. HUH??? so it’s just fuck an actual conclusion I guess.
I just feel like I go edged. if you wanna make him obsessed, go for it. if you wanna lean into the trapped replica shit, go for it. but don’t pussyfoot around ideas.. take your own advice and DIVE IN. go all out.
there’s way too many unanswered questions and I’d definitely warn anyone reading this that it’s not really satisfying to finish. justice for my time being wasted
