Loads of thoughts

It’s not a bad story but it’s reasonable to say it’s trauma porn, the amount of rape/gangrape scenes it’s insane compared to “good” ones. Many times there was visible romanticism of said violence, dare I say some over empathetic speech with characters (such as Reider) who regardless of their traumatic past are, in the end, criminals and rapists but the story forces you to see them under some light of understanding. I believe it could have delivered the same feelings and idea without the non stop rape every chapter for almost 60 chapters, when they finally get together there’s no rewarding feeling for the reader or at least for me I felt nothing, genuinely the concept of sex in this story was so heavily desensitized that even the “loving” sex between them felt shallow and empty. More than that it just falls into the same trope of kid pimped by loan shark gets saved by his white knight (like Pearl Boy or Pawns Revenge) but this one it’s even more boring cause at least in others the tops were also messed up or had more balls, to actually have people groping your lover and raping him on a stall in front of you and saying “please refrain from this” it’s just nuts for me and I truly feel like this seme was pathetic. There’s much more sad and realistic stories out there similar to this that don’t need to glamourise disturbing stuff for shock value (check “Stigma”)
