Yes but shuraka didnt say anything to tei. He didnt say Tei why he did make tei leave 12 years ago. Then suddenly after 12 years ago he came LITERALLY WITHOUT ANY CONTACT. And yet tei didnt ask he still went w shuraka. And imagine you slept w ur man one night. And the next day he completely ghosted u what would u do:)
He didn't say anything to Tei because he knew Tei would refuse to leave and instead stay to protect him, maybe even losing his life in the process. And Shuraka is being distant because he feels that Tei too is scared of what he has become like his mother is.
Yes. But try to understand from Tei's pov. Shuraka is taking decisions on his own. He never talked w tei never explained anything to him. So how can he not overthink ofc he would think he is not good enough for him. Bcz shuraka literally ghosted him after that night. They need communication. Shuraka needs to tell to tei why he kept distance from himself. So yeah without saying anything and taking decisions on ur own ofc make other party anxious and insecure.
Yeah they do need to communicate more but considering the type of upbringing Shuraka has had, where you can't talk about your inner thoughts openly for fear of someone using your vulnerability against you, I don't think he knows how to. Also Shuraka may also wants to appear a strong and powerful ruler and communicating his fears may seem like something that would destroy that image of his in Tei's mind.
