It really is not that simple though..? Incase you missed it this is an arranged marriage. The reason for them being together is strictly for the alliance between Leracal and Arnata. Tei views himself like his mother who got married off and died after, that is why he thinks he's easy to toss aside. It's not mean or weird for Tei to suggest another bride. Also remember that Tei is tossing away his life as a warrior for Shuraka.. he is not meant to be a bride in the first place, that's why it makes sense to suggest someone else since he doesn't feel like he can fulfill Shuraka's needs

Yeah, I get that Tei’s actions are logical as well as driven by the fact that he deeply cares for Shuraka. It’s just that the main point of tension right now is how Tei continues to be dismissive of Shuraka's feelings for him. Treating them lightly, assuming Shuraka will quickly grow out of them. Meanwhile, Shuraka has been making repeated efforts to convey that the one he wants by his side is Tei. Announced first thing that he was here to take Tei home, confessed how just the thought of him kept him going over the last 10 years, immediately shuts down any talk about finding another bride, offered an entire mine as a dowery, and reestablished in public that Tei would be empress. And then, despite all this, Tei brings up again finding another bride.
I think it’s understandable that Shuraka would feel frustrated by the whole situation. Just wanted to put his actions into perspective, as we primarily see the story through the MC's pov
Y'all, if after 10 years of yearning, your bride immediately tries to set you up with another woman, and then is seemingly only intimate with you out of a sense of duty, and then goes on to talk about how they aren’t competent enough and again suggests finding another bride, I’d also be crashing out.
