I’m on Tei’s side imo

Shuraka is fully baby girl-ifying Tei, and I feel so bad for both of them.

He thinks they can just pick up their relationship exactly how it was when he was 9 years old (except now they can fuck) not realizing that he’s 1) a fully grown adult and not a child, and 2) a terrifyingly powerful and wealthy king with complete control over Tei’s life. It’s very scary how much power and control Shuraka has over Tei, like he didn’t even ask him if he wanted to go back to the palace after 12 years, he just said “we’re leaving” and Tei had to drop his entire life

Shuraka seems to think it is his turn to the the attentive and noble knight that Tei was for him and Tei would be as happy and in awe as 9 year old Shuraka was but is totally not connecting that Tei is in his late 30s and a powerful warrior and leader in his own right. He doesn’t know Tei as an adult, and thinks the light and fluffy way Tei treated him as a kid is the full scope and depth of Tei’s personality, not that Tei was being an adult acting age appropriately with a child.

This is going to be so juicy and dramatic!
