there was a key plot (and timeskip) around ch50, after that it went all downhill. core side characters were practically relegated to npc status and didn't show up on important parts. plot progress were resolved with more mini timeskips with short narration. I guess it was still a worthy read for the first part.
Imho, no. It's mainly from how can I escape from his grasp to how can I be worthit for him shit. But go ahead if you like that plot
