This isn't our actual universe so they can use whatever mix of cultural references they like. Tei's Kingdom is a combination or northeastern Europe, his mother comes from an Asian type terriroty, that's why he looks half Asian, even with the characteristic pale skin and darker tone under the eyes that Koreans have. For Shuraka they used a bunch of different references from Middle Eastern cultures, maybe with a hint of Indian aesthetics. It's a fantasy comic, they have unlimited freedom lol.

In This chapter the word padishah was brought up making me certain that shuraka is supposed to be middle eastern. Of course that means his bride is also middle eastern but from the northern part. However the word padishah is only used for Persian and ottoman or Turkish kings. But the architecture and also their clothing doesn’t quite match those places.
