I can literally think of a million better ways:
-Tell your dad you don’t wanna be empress. They love her so much, they can’t just force her.
-kill off the brother first (I know this one is bad but seriously at least consider).
-love bomb your brother (not in a weird way), especially in front of your parents).
-run away.
Idk anything other than her plan.
She literally does all of that (except kill her brother or run away)
But she doesn’t think about that in the first chapter. I’m too annoyed to continue
Bruh, I can’t get past the main chapter. Like, okay, her step brother killed off her entire family and her. I get that. I’d dislike him too but when you get a second chance at life all you think about is saving yourself by either winning over the guy who killed you or learning self defense? The brother can literally just send another dude. You think that’ll change anything? Also, you’re just gonna abandon your parents?
