I can't imagine the pain of losing him and waiting 800 years. I lost mine 8 years ago and hurts like hell.

Not really? These two have been stuck in this cycle for the duration of this story. The past Reaper and Bride were different souls entirely. Now she’ll get with this guy who presumably has Hwita’s soul and he’ll find the next reaper and then they’ll just die of old age together and end the cycle. The reason the cycle was between their two souls specifically is because of Hwi’s wish but now things are finally resolved. Their story is over.

They just keep repeating the cycle over and over. He takes her place she dies and is reborn they fall in love again then she takes his place and he dies and is reborn again they fall in love etc..??? That’s so sad.
